Water Sort is a colour-sorting logic puzzle played with layered liquid in glass tubes. Select a tube to pick up the connected block of colour at its top, then select a destination. A pour is legal when the other tube is empty or already has the same colour on top, and when there is enough room. The game moves as much of that connected colour as will fit. You win when every non-empty tube contains four layers of one colour.
The rule takes seconds to learn; preserving room to manoeuvre is the real puzzle. Every board here begins as a solved arrangement and is mixed using reversible moves. That construction provides a solution path before you make your first pour, so you will never be pushed toward an advert, purchase or artificial extra tube to repair an impossible level.
Useful Water Sort strategy
- Protect an empty tube. Your spare space is most valuable when it stays flexible. Filling both empties with unrelated colours can close the board.
- Join matching top colours. Consolidating two blue runs creates room elsewhere and reduces the number of separate pieces you must manage.
- Look underneath before pouring. Moving a short top run is strongest when it reveals a colour that can immediately join another tube.
- Do not break a finished colour casually. A full single-colour tube is effectively removed from the puzzle, which simplifies everything left.
- Undo is part of solving. There is no penalty for testing a line, noticing the trap and taking it back.

Four difficulties and one daily board
Easy uses four colours and two empty tubes. Classic increases that to six colours, while Hard uses nine and Expert uses twelve. Larger boards are not merely longer: more buried colour boundaries make it harder to remember which pour creates useful space. Daily mode gives every player the same puzzle for that date and difficulty, so move counts can be compared honestly. Progress survives a refresh on this device, and your fastest completed time is remembered separately for each difficulty.
Accessible colour sorting
Colour should not be the only way to read a logic game. The Colour patterns control adds dots, stripes and crosshatching to the liquids. Every tube is also a real labelled button for assistive technology, and the board supports Tab, arrow keys, Enter and Space. Sound starts off and can be enabled with the shared arcade control.
