Pinball

A full pinball table in your browser. Real rotating flippers — a tip shot is stronger than a base shot, exactly as it should be — plus ramps, an orbit, drop targets, a spinner, multiball and nudge. Relaxed, Classic, Expert and Endless. No ads, no sign-in.

Keys: Z / ← left flipper · / / → right flipper · hold Space or ↑ to charge the plunger and release to fire · , and . nudge · N nudge up. On a phone: hold the left or right third of the table for the flippers, the middle for the plunger.

How to play pinball

Hold the plunger to charge it, then let go. A full plunge sends the ball all the way around the top arch, through the three rollover lanes, and back down to the right flipper ready to shoot — so your first real decision arrives about two seconds into every ball. From there the job is simple to describe and hard to do: keep the ball alive, and hit the lit shots.

The shots

The right ramp is the left flipper's shot, and the left orbit is the right flipper's. That is not arbitrary — a flipper can only reach the ramp on the far side of the table. Both return the ball to the opposite inlane, so a clean shot hands you the next one immediately, which is how combos get built. The drop target bank on the left lights a lock; two locks plus the ball in play starts multiball. The spinner in the left ramp throat pays per revolution, so a fast ball through it is worth far more than a slow one. The saucer in the middle of the table starts missions.

Why the flippers matter

Each flipper is a rotating capsule, and the ball takes its speed from the contact point's actual surface velocity. That means a shot off the tip leaves at roughly twice the speed of one off the base, with no special cases in the code — it falls out of the physics. In practice: nudge the ball down to the tip before you shoot, and learn to catch it. Letting a ball land on a raised flipper will settle it against the base, giving you a moment to aim instead of swinging blind.

Nudging and tilt

You can shove the table. A nudge pushes every ball a little, which is often the difference between an outlane drain and a save. It is not free: each nudge fills the tilt meter, the meter drains slowly, and three shoves in quick succession tilt the table — the flippers die, the ball drains and your end-of-ball bonus is gone. Nudge when it matters, not out of habit.

What everything scores

Generated from the game's own ruleset, so these are the numbers the table actually awards. A ramp is worth thirty bumpers, which is the whole reason to aim rather than flail.

ShotPointsNotes
Slingshot 100 Bounces off the kickers above the flippers.
Bumper 250 The three portholes at the top of the table.
Spinner 150 Per revolution, so speed through it is what pays.
Spinner (lit) 500 Same shot, lit by the drop-target bank.
Drop target 1,500 Each target in the left-hand bank.
Rollover lane 2,500 The three lanes across the top arch.
Left orbit 5,000 The right flipper's shot.
Kickback save 5,000 Returns a ball from the left outlane.
Right ramp 7,500 The left flipper's shot.
Saucer 10,000 Starts a mission when lit.
Drop bank cleared 15,000 All three targets down.
Skill shot 25,000 The lit lane on the opening plunge.
Star bonus 50,000 During multiball. Each one raises the next.
Rank up 100,000 Awarded on every promotion.
Mega star 250,000 The big finishing shot of multiball.

Consecutive lit shots build a combo multiplier, and missions and the wizard mode pay far more than anything listed here — those are left for you to find.

Modes

Relaxed gives you five balls and leaves the outlane kickback on permanently, which is the right place to learn the table. Classic is the standard three-ball game. Expert is faster, drops the kickback and tilts more easily. Endless never takes a ball away — it just keeps speeding up while you chase a number.
