How to play Snacky Worm
Snacky Worm is the timeless Snake game. You control a worm that's always on the move, and your job is to guide its head onto the food. Each bite makes the worm one segment longer and adds a point. The catch: the longer you get, the more of the board your own body fills — and running into yourself (or a wall) ends the game. Steer with the arrow keys or WASD on a keyboard, swipe on the board, or use the on-screen pad. You can't turn back on yourself in a single step, so plan your turns a moment ahead.
Modes
- Classic — standard speed; the walls are deadly.
- Zen — same speed, but the worm wraps around the edges instead of crashing, so the only threat is yourself.
- Speed — a faster worm for a tougher challenge and quicker rounds.
Tips for a longer worm
- Use the whole board early. When you're short, grab food efficiently and keep the middle clear for later.
- Follow the walls when you're long. Hugging the edges leaves open space in the centre to manoeuvre.
- Leave yourself an exit. Before you dive into a gap for food, check you can get back out.
- Turn early, not late. Because you can't reverse, commit to turns with room to spare.
- Try Zen to practise. Wrapping walls let you focus purely on not crossing your own tail.
