How to play Keepy-Uppy
Tap or click the ball before it hits the grass. Every good touch pops the ball back into the air and adds points. Clean centre touches keep the ball under control, while edge touches send it sideways. Collect stars for bonus points and keep the combo alive for a bigger score.
Chill mode is forgiving. Match mode adds more speed and sideways drift. Chaos mode makes the ball smaller, faster, and harder to recover.
Your combo is the real scoring engine here, not any single touch. Every clean touch in a row multiplies the next one, so a long, steady rally is worth far more than a handful of lucky pops. A single mistimed touch that lets the ball drop resets the combo to zero, which is why keeping the ball centred — even at the cost of catching a star — usually beats a risky reach.
Tips for a higher score
- Tap the lower half of the ball to lift it cleanly.
- Centre touches reduce drift and help preserve your combo.
- Only chase stars when the ball is already under control.
- Use short taps on mobile. Long presses do not help.
Frequently asked questions
Is Keepy-Uppy free?
Yes. It plays free in your browser with no ads, no sign-in, and nothing to install.
Does Keepy-Uppy work on mobile?
Yes. Tap the ball directly or use the Kick button below the pitch.
What's the difference between the three difficulty modes?
Chill uses gentler gravity and a slower ball for a relaxed rally. Match speeds things up with more sideways drift. Chaos shrinks the ball and quickens gravity, so recovery windows get much tighter.
Is my best score saved?
Yes, in your browser's local storage on this device. It isn't tied to an account, so it won't follow you to a different browser or phone.
Is this an official World Cup game?
No. It is an original SnackPack Studios soccer game and is not affiliated with FIFA, the World Cup, any team, league, or governing body.
