Space Math

A maths app for ages 9-17 that teaches geometry, measurement, patterns and spatial reasoning through a six-zone space adventure. Quizzes, illustrated story books, fact cards and mini-games all circle the same concepts, so each one makes the next land harder. No ads, no accounts, no tracking.

Maths learning

Real maths, wrapped in a space mission.

Space Math starts with core arithmetic and shapes and climbs through GCSE-level geometry and measurement, with a clearly labelled set of "Deep Space Challenge" questions reaching into A-Level trigonometry, coordinate geometry and calculus for students who want the stretch. The space setting is not decoration: orbital mechanics, planetary scale and mission planning are where the maths actually lives.

  • More than 1,000 quiz questions with a hint system, spread across every zone and difficulty band.
  • More than 50 character-led illustrated story books, several with interactive diagrams and scale comparisons.
  • More than 20 mini-games, from Symmetry Studio and Tessellation Tiles to Gravity Slingshot and Cosmic Coordinates.
  • A full Solar System atlas with planet cards and notable moons, free from the first launch.
  • Fact cards, collectible trading cards, achievement badges and a rolling set of daily challenges.
  • Local-first play: progress lives on the device, with no ads, no advertising ID, no accounts and no tracking SDKs.
Zones

Six zones, one connected map.

Geometry Galaxy

Shapes, angles, lines and symmetry. Open from the first launch, with its full question bank, badges and fact cards included at no cost.

Measurement Mission

Area, perimeter, volume and units, framed as the planning work behind a launch.

Pattern Patrol

Spotting, continuing and building sequences — from simple repeats to square, triangular and Fibonacci numbers.

Spatial Station

Rotation, nets, maps and three-dimensional reasoning, including a 3D shape-shifting puzzle set.

Planet Lab

The planets, moons and Sun of our solar system, with size, distance and scale handled as real numbers.

Deep Space Base

Stars, galaxies, black holes, asteroids and current missions — the home of the stretch content for older students.

Features

  • Quiz Lab: difficulty-progressive question banks per zone, with hints so nobody gets stuck, and best scores tracked on device.
  • Story library: illustrated books led by recurring SnackPack characters, several with interactive diagrams, comparison modals and fullscreen image viewing.
  • Mini-games: Symmetry Studio, Tessellation Tiles, Angle Aim, Shape Shifter 3D, Lunchbox Area Builder, Volume Vault, Cosmic Coordinates, Gravity Slingshot, Scale Mapper, Prime Pathfinder, Data Detective, Fraction Fuel and more.
  • Mission Control: daily challenges, a fact archive, a badge tracker and a card collection in one place.
  • Deep Space Challenge: optional A-Level-level questions, clearly labelled and kept out of the normal difficulty progression so younger players never hit them by accident.
  • Parent Zone: a PIN-protected, read-only summary of progress for a parent or carer.
  • Built for a mixed age range: a neutral age screen on first launch, stored on the device only. For under-13s the purchase screen sits behind a parental gate and engagement reminders are switched off entirely.
  • Optional daily reminder: a local, opt-in notification tied to the streak system, with a plain on/off switch and three preset times.
  • Accessibility: three text-size presets, a reduced-motion setting, several colour schemes, and haptics that can be switched off.

Release status

Space Math is in development and is not on Google Play yet. This page will get a store link, screenshots and a download QR code as the app moves through internal testing to release.

In-app purchases are not configured in the current build, so everything that ships is available without paying. If a premium unlock is added later, this page and the privacy policy will be updated first.
