Earth Science data deletion request

This page explains how users can request deletion of data associated with SnackPack Earth Science, a curriculum-aligned science learning app published by SnackPack Studios.

Start here: most data is on your device

Earth Science is a local-first app. Quiz progress, explorer journal entries, achievements, streaks, preferences, and the birth year entered at first launch are all stored on the device and are never sent to SnackPack Studios. You can remove all of it yourself, without contacting anyone, by using the reset options in the app's Settings, by clearing the app's storage in your device settings, or by uninstalling the app.

The email process below is for the small amount of information that can exist off your device, which in practice means purchase records if you bought the premium unlock, and any support emails you have sent.

How to request deletion

  1. Email: Send a request to privacy@snackpackuniverse.com with the subject "Earth Science data deletion request".
  2. Identify the app: Include "SnackPack Earth Science" and the platform you used, such as Android / Google Play or iOS / App Store.
  3. Include purchase details if relevant: If you made an in-app purchase, include the approximate purchase date, the product purchased, and any Google Play or App Store order identifier you can access. Do not send payment card details.
  4. Verification: SnackPack Studios may ask for enough information to match the request to the RevenueCat purchase or entitlement record before deletion.

Data deleted

After a verified request, SnackPack Studios will request deletion of the Earth Science RevenueCat purchase or entitlement record associated with your device or purchase. This may include product identifiers, transaction information, the app user identifier generated for purchase handling, and the device identifier used for fraud prevention and purchase restoration.

Verified RevenueCat deletion requests are normally completed within 30 days.

Data kept or controlled elsewhere

  • Local app data: Quiz progress, explorer journal entries, achievements, streak history, preferences, and the stored birth year live on your device. Remove them using the reset options in Settings, by clearing the app's storage, or by uninstalling the app. SnackPack Studios has no copy to delete.
  • Printed reports and share cards: Progress reports you printed or saved, and achievement share cards you sent to other apps, photo libraries, cloud storage, or messages are controlled by you and those services. Delete those copies wherever you saved or shared them.
  • Platform purchase records: Google Play and the App Store retain purchase records under their own policies. SnackPack Studios cannot delete records held by Google or Apple.
  • Support emails: Emails you send to SnackPack Studios may be retained separately for support, fraud prevention, legal, tax, accounting, dispute-resolution, or recordkeeping purposes.
