How to play Header Hero
You face 12 crosses. Before each one arrives, choose where you want to aim — left, centre, or right — using the pad below the pitch. You can change your mind right up until you jump. Watch the ball arc in from the wing and tap the pitch, press space, or hit the Head It button at the exact moment it reaches the striker. A perfectly timed header is unstoppable, no matter which way the keeper dives. A good-but-not-perfect header only goes in if the keeper guesses wrong, and a mistimed header drifts wide before the keeper even needs to move.
Rookie mode gives a longer run-up and a generous timing window. Pro and Legend shrink both, and the keeper starts reading your aim if you keep going back to the same corner.
Tips for more goals
- Watch the striker, not the ball. The header window opens right as the cross reaches the six-yard box.
- Mix up your aim. The keeper leans toward whichever corner you've picked most recently.
- A perfect header beats everything. If your timing is clean, it doesn't matter which way the keeper goes.
- Don't guess late. A header timed too late drifts wide even if your aim was good.
