Pork-ulele tunes each string for the picnic concert. He has written a gentle tune and imagines everyone playing it exactly his way.

Coop-Accino adds a sleepy melody, but Octo-Pop splashes in with a much faster beat. Pork-ulele stops playing. “That is not how my tune goes.”

They listen again: slow melody, quick rhythm, then a bright plink from Pork-ulele. The different sounds begin answering one another instead of competing.

Their new song is nothing like Pork-ulele planned—and much better than anything he could play alone. Even the birds add a chorus from the trees.
A happy song.
A faster beat.
