This policy applies to Snackpack Brain Games Vol 3 on Android and iOS. Brain Games Vol 3 is a mixed-audience strategy, card, and puzzle app that may be used by children, teens, and adults. The app uses a neutral age screen on first launch to help keep age-sensitive features, such as purchases, appropriate for each player.
Information the app handles
- Game progress and preferences: The app stores your detailed game progress, best scores and times, win rates, statistics, selected colour theme, and sound settings locally on your device.
- Coarse engagement attributes for ages 13 and over: The app may attach broad buckets for games tried, total plays, paywall views, time since measurement began, Pro status, and app version to an anonymous RevenueCat customer record. Raw counts, game choices, puzzle details, scores, streaks, words, and authored text are not sent. Under-13 gameplay attributes are not sent.
- Age screen choice: The app stores the selected year of birth locally on the device to determine a broad age band. The year itself is not sent to SnackPack Studios or RevenueCat.
- Purchase status: If you buy the optional Pro upgrade, the app stores whether your device has an active entitlement so paid features stay unlocked. See "In-app purchases" below.
- Device-level technical information: Platform providers (Google Play, Apple, and RevenueCat) may process technical data such as device type, operating system version, IP address, crash reports, or diagnostics when needed to operate their services.
- Support contact information: If you email SnackPack Studios for support, the email address and information you include in your message may be received and retained for support purposes.
Information the app does not collect
- No account required: Snackpack Brain Games Vol 3 does not require you to create an account or sign in.
- No advertising: The app does not show third-party ads and does not use the device advertising identifier (AD_ID).
- No advertising analytics or cross-app tracking: The app does not include an advertising analytics SDK, build an advertising profile, or track activity across other apps or websites. The limited RevenueCat attributes described above are used only for first-party app analytics and purchase operations.
- No microphone access: The app plays sound effects and music for output only and does not request or use the microphone.
- No location, contacts, or photos: The app does not request access to your location, contacts, photo library, or similar personal data.
Local storage
Snackpack Brain Games Vol 3 is local-first and relies on on-device storage for detailed game state, scores, statistics, preferences, and cached purchase status. This information generally remains on your device until you reset it in the app, clear the app's storage, or uninstall the app. Detailed gameplay records are not synced to SnackPack Studios or a SnackPack account. Only the coarse age-gated attributes listed above may be transmitted through RevenueCat.
In-app purchases and coarse analytics
Brain Games Vol 3 offers an optional one-time "Pro" upgrade that unlocks additional depth. Purchases are processed by the platform's billing system - Google Play Billing on Android and the App Store on iOS. Under-13 users must pass a parental gate before purchase or restore options are shown. SnackPack Studios does not receive or store your payment card details. To deliver and restore purchases, the app uses RevenueCat, a service that validates store receipts and manages entitlements. RevenueCat may process a randomly generated app user identifier, technical identifiers used for fraud prevention and purchase restoration, together with purchase and receipt information. For players aged 13 or over, the same anonymous customer record may also receive the coarse first-party engagement attributes listed above. How information is used
- To operate the app: including saving progress, scores, statistics, and preferences locally.
- To understand coarse app use: including whether players sample multiple games and whether the optional Pro screen is reached, without receiving raw gameplay history.
- To deliver paid features: including unlocking and restoring the Pro upgrade.
- To maintain and improve the app: including fixing bugs and diagnosing crashes.
- To respond to support requests: if you contact SnackPack Studios directly.
Children's privacy
Snackpack Brain Games Vol 3 may be used by children as part of a mixed audience, but it does not require a child account and does not knowingly collect personal information from children. The app uses a neutral age screen, stores the age response locally, does not show ads, does not transmit custom gameplay attributes for under-13 players, and places purchase and restore options for under-13 users behind a parental gate. Google Play and RevenueCat may still process the limited technical and transaction information needed to distribute the app and service a parent-authorized purchase. If you believe a child has provided personal information through a support email, contact us and we will delete it.
Sharing and disclosure
SnackPack Studios does not sell personal information. Limited information is shared with Google Play, Apple, and RevenueCat to distribute the app, operate purchases, and understand coarse age-gated app engagement as described above. Information may also be disclosed when required by law or to respond to a lawful request. Gameplay information is not shared with advertisers or third-party marketing SDKs.
Retention and security
Reasonable administrative and technical measures are used to help protect information handled by the app, including secure on-device storage for entitlement state and encrypted transport used by platform services. Local information remains until reset, app storage is cleared, or the app is uninstalled. RevenueCat attributes and purchase records may remain as needed for aggregate analytics, entitlement restoration, fraud prevention, and legal obligations. Support emails may be retained for follow-up and recordkeeping.
Your choices
- App data: You can reset your statistics in the app's settings, and you can remove all locally stored data by clearing the app's storage or uninstalling the app.
- RevenueCat data: You may request deletion of the anonymous customer record by contacting privacy@snackpackuniverse.com. Uninstalling alone does not necessarily delete off-device purchase or analytics records already held by platform providers.
- Purchases: You can manage purchases through your Google Play or App Store account settings.
- Support requests: You can choose whether to contact SnackPack Studios by email.
Requesting data deletion
Snackpack Brain Games Vol 3 relies on local, on-device storage for detailed game progress, scores, and preferences, so clearing app storage or uninstalling removes that information from your device. To request deletion of information held off-device, email privacy@snackpackuniverse.com with enough purchase or device information to locate and verify the anonymous Brain Games Vol 3 record.
What this covers: the associated RevenueCat customer record, including custom engagement attributes, product identifiers, transaction information, the generated app user identifier, and technical identifiers used for fraud prevention and purchase restoration, will be requested for deletion within 30 days after verification. Google Play and App Store purchase records are retained and managed by those platforms under their own policies and cannot be deleted by SnackPack Studios. Deleting RevenueCat data may affect purchase restoration. Support emails may be retained separately for recordkeeping as described above.
Platform-specific privacy requirements
Snackpack Brain Games Vol 3 is distributed on Google Play and may also be submitted to the Apple App Store. For Apple review, the iOS build keeps its app-level privacy manifest current for required-reason APIs used by shipped dependencies such as preferences storage, secure local storage, timing, file access, and disk-space checks. The Google Play Data safety form is kept consistent with the practices described here. If platform-specific privacy practices change in future releases, this page and the related store disclosures will be updated accordingly.
