Who this policy applies to
This policy applies to SnackPack Basic Math on Android, iOS, and any later supported platforms. If you use this app, this page describes how information related to your use of the app may be collected, stored, processed, or shared.
Information the app may handle
- App progress and preferences: The app may store gameplay progress, learning progress, unlocked content, settings, and similar app-state information.
- Device-level technical information: Platform providers may process technical data such as device type, operating system version, IP address, crash reports, or diagnostics when needed to operate their services.
- Support contact information: If you email SnackPack Studios for support, the email address and information you include in your message may be received and retained for support purposes.
Information the app does not currently require
- No account required: SnackPack Basic Math does not require a SnackPack account or profile registration for core use.
- No ads: The app does not display third-party advertising.
- No analytics or tracking SDK: The launch build does not include an advertising, behavioural analytics, or cross-app tracking SDK.
- No newsletter signup inside the app: Website newsletter signup is managed separately from the app experience.
- No payment details collected by the app: SnackPack Basic Math offers an optional one-time in-app purchase that unlocks the full library. Purchases are processed by Google Play; SnackPack Studios does not receive or store your payment card details.
How information may be used
- To operate the app: including saving progress, preferences, and app state.
- To maintain and improve the app: including fixing bugs, diagnosing crashes, and improving stability.
- To respond to support requests: if you contact SnackPack Studios directly.
Local storage
SnackPack Basic Math is expected to rely primarily on local, on-device storage for core app state unless a future release adds optional online features. Locally stored information generally remains on your device until you remove it, clear app storage, or uninstall the app.
Purchases and third-party services
Optional Pro purchases are processed by Google Play and RevenueCat. Those providers may process purchase status, product identifiers, transaction information, app user identifiers generated for purchase handling, a device identifier (used for fraud prevention and to restore purchases to the correct device), and diagnostics needed to provide billing and restore purchases. SnackPack Studios does not receive a child's payment-card details. Google Play and RevenueCat handle information under their own privacy terms.
Notifications
If a parent enables notifications, the app may schedule local learning reminders on the device. The app requests notification permission and lets users disable notifications through app or device settings. SnackPack Studios does not use a SnackPack server to send behavioural marketing notifications.
Children's privacy
SnackPack Basic Math is designed for children and family use. SnackPack Studios does not sell personal information, show interest-based ads, require a child account, or use advertising identifiers. Purchase and account-changing actions are intended for adults and are protected by the app's parent controls. This policy remains accessible from the store listing and the app's Settings screen.
Sharing and disclosure
SnackPack Studios does not sell personal information. Information may be shared only when reasonably necessary to operate the app through platform services such as Google Play and RevenueCat, comply with legal obligations, respond to lawful requests, or answer support messages.
Retention and security
Reasonable administrative and technical measures may be used to help protect information handled by the app. Information is retained only for as long as reasonably necessary to provide support, comply with legal obligations, resolve disputes, or enforce agreements. Support emails may be retained for follow-up and recordkeeping.
Your choices
- App data: You can usually remove locally stored app data by uninstalling the app or clearing its storage through your device settings.
- Support requests: You can choose whether to contact SnackPack Studios by email.
- Future permissions: If a later version requests device permissions or optional online features, users can decide whether to grant those permissions where the platform allows it.
Requesting data deletion
SnackPack Basic Math relies on local, on-device storage for gameplay progress and settings, so uninstalling the app removes that information from your device. For the small amount of information generated off-device, email privacy@snackpackuniverse.com from the account or with the device details used with SnackPack Basic Math and request deletion.
What this covers: the RevenueCat purchase/entitlement record associated with your device (product identifiers, transaction information, the app user identifier generated for purchase handling, and the device identifier used for fraud prevention and purchase restoration) will be deleted from RevenueCat within 30 days of a verified request. Google Play purchase records are retained and managed by Google under Google's own policies and cannot be deleted by SnackPack Studios. Support emails may be retained separately for recordkeeping as described above.
Platform-specific privacy requirements
SnackPack Basic Math is being prepared for distribution on Google Play and may also be submitted to the Apple App Store. For Apple review, the iOS build is expected to keep its app-level privacy manifest current for any required-reason APIs used by shipped dependencies such as preferences storage, secure local storage, timing, file access, or similar system APIs. If platform-specific privacy practices differ in future releases, this page and the related store disclosures will be updated accordingly.
Changes to this policy
This Privacy Policy may be updated from time to time. The version published on this page is the current version, and the effective date will be updated when material changes are made.
