ABCs Alphabet

This Privacy Policy applies to SnackPack ABCs Alphabet, a child-focused learning app published by SnackPack Studios. It explains what information the app handles, how that information is used, and what choices parents and users have.

Effective date: April 27, 2026

Who this policy applies to

This policy applies to SnackPack ABCs Alphabet on Android, iOS, and any later supported platforms. If you use this app, this page describes how information related to your use of the app may be collected, stored, processed, or shared.

Child-directed app status

SnackPack ABCs Alphabet is designed for young children and family use. For Google Play launch planning, this app should be treated as a child-directed learning app. SnackPack Studios does not use this app to sell personal information, run interest-based ads, or require a child account for core app use.

Information stored on the device

  • Birth year: The app stores a birth year locally on the device to support child or adult mode behavior inside the app.
  • Learning progress: The app stores completed letters, completed books, read stories, quiz scores, streaks, earned badges, session minutes, and the last read book locally on the device.
  • Preferences: The app stores selected colour theme, sound-effects preference, and similar settings locally on the device.
  • Unlock status: The app stores Pro unlock state and individually unlocked books locally on the device.

Information not currently required for core use

  • No account required: ABCs Alphabet does not currently require sign-in, account creation, or profile registration to use the core app experience.
  • No ads: The app is intended to launch without advertising.
  • No analytics SDK declared for launch: The current app configuration does not declare Firebase, AdMob, or similar analytics and ads SDKs for launch.
  • No live store billing yet: Billing is not yet wired into the launch builds. If Google Play or App Store purchasing is added later, this policy will be updated before release.

How information is used

  • To operate the app: including saving learning progress, unlock state, preferences, and age-mode behavior on the device.
  • To provide child safety behavior: including the stored birth-year-based mode used by the app's safety flow.
  • To improve user experience on the device: including review prompts, last-read location, quiz progress, and session continuity.
  • To respond to support requests: if a parent or user contacts SnackPack Studios directly by email.

Network access and off-device transmission

The Android app configuration currently includes internet access. Based on the current app code reviewed for this page, SnackPack Studios intends ABCs Alphabet to operate primarily as a local-first app, with core learning data stored on the device rather than synced to a SnackPack server. Platform providers such as Google Play may still process technical information needed to distribute the app, provide device compatibility, enable store review prompts, or support future billing if enabled later.

Children's privacy and store review position

Because this app is intended for children, SnackPack Studios aims to comply with child-directed app requirements, including avoiding advertising ID use for children, avoiding precise location collection, avoiding unnecessary permissions, and avoiding unapproved SDKs for child-directed services. For iOS learning-app review, SnackPack Studios also expects this policy to remain publicly accessible from the App Store listing and from an in-app legal or settings surface. If future versions add services that collect or transmit child personal information off-device, this policy and the related store disclosures must be updated before that version is published.

Sharing and disclosure

SnackPack Studios does not sell personal information. Information may be shared only when reasonably necessary to operate the app through standard platform services, comply with legal obligations, respond to lawful requests, or support future billing infrastructure if that is later enabled. The current local app experience is not intended to share a child's learning progress with advertisers or third-party marketing SDKs.

Retention and deletion

Locally stored app information generally remains on the device until it is reset in the app, cleared through device settings, or removed by uninstalling the app. Support emails may be retained for follow-up and recordkeeping. If future versions add cloud accounts or synced storage, this page will be updated with account deletion and retention instructions before release.

Security

SnackPack Studios uses reasonable administrative and technical measures to help protect information handled by the app. Some values, such as birth year, may be stored using platform-supported secure local storage where available. No security method can guarantee absolute protection, but the app is intended to minimize unnecessary data collection.

Your choices

  • Local app data: You can remove locally stored app data by using in-app reset features where provided, clearing app storage through device settings, or uninstalling the app.
  • Support contact: You can choose whether to contact SnackPack Studios by email.
  • Future payments or permissions: If a later version adds billing or new device permissions, those changes should be reflected in updated disclosures before release.

Platform-specific privacy requirements

ABCs Alphabet is being prepared for distribution on Google Play and may also be submitted to the Apple App Store. For Apple review, the iOS build is expected to keep its app-level privacy manifest current for any required-reason APIs used by shipped dependencies such as secure local storage, preferences storage, timing, or file access. If the final Android and iOS builds differ in permissions, billing, SDKs, or data handling, this policy and the related store disclosures will be updated accordingly before release.

Changes to this policy

This Privacy Policy may be updated from time to time. The version published on this page is the current version, and the effective date will be updated when material changes are made.

This policy is intended to give ABCs Alphabet a stable privacy URL for Google Play and Apple App Store listing requirements. Before launch, the corresponding Play Console Data safety answers, App Store privacy disclosures, target-audience settings, and iOS privacy-manifest entries should be reviewed against the final shipped builds, especially if billing, external SDKs, or additional permissions are introduced.
