Who this policy applies to
This policy applies to Pawsitive Dose on Android and iOS. The app is intended as a positive wellbeing and inspiration app. It does not require an account and does not use third-party advertising.
Information the app handles
- Preferences and progress: The app stores settings such as theme, enabled content categories, animal preferences, motivation tone, widget mode, selected badges, streaks, saved-card counts, and archive-related preferences on your device.
- Saved cards and interactions: The app stores saved-card information, reactions, reflection stats, review-prompt state, and onboarding completion locally so the app can personalize your experience.
- Notifications: If you enable reminders, the app uses notification permission to send twice-daily dose reminders. You can change notification permissions in device settings.
- Photos and sharing: If you choose to save or share a photo, the app may request photo-library access or use the system share sheet. The app does not read your photo library for unrelated purposes.
- Purchase status: Optional Pro or Supporter purchases are processed by the app store and RevenueCat. SnackPack Studios does not receive your payment card details.
- Content reports and reactions: If you report content or send a reaction, the app may send limited card metadata and the action you chose to SnackPack Studios' backend so content quality can be monitored.
- Support contact information: If you email support, your email address and the information you include may be received and retained for support purposes.
Information the app does not collect
- No account required: Pawsitive Dose does not require sign-in.
- No third-party ads: The app does not show third-party advertising and blocks the Android advertising identifier permission.
- No sale of personal information: SnackPack Studios does not sell personal information.
- No location, contacts, microphone, or camera: The app does not request these permissions for its core experience.
Photos and third-party image sources
Some animal or mindful imagery may be loaded from third-party image providers through a SnackPack Studios proxy. When required by an image provider, a download-tracking request may be triggered when you explicitly save or keep an image. This supports image-provider attribution and licensing requirements.
In-app purchases
Pawsitive Dose offers optional paid features such as Pro or Supporter access. Purchases are handled by Google Play Billing or the App Store, with RevenueCat used to validate receipts and manage entitlements. RevenueCat may process a generated app user identifier, purchase status, and receipt information. See RevenueCat's privacy policy at revenuecat.com/privacy.
How information is used
- To operate the app: including saved cards, personalization, streaks, reminders, widgets, and archive behavior.
- To deliver paid features: including unlocking and restoring Pro or Supporter entitlements.
- To improve content quality: including reviewing reports and aggregate reactions.
- To provide support: if you contact SnackPack Studios directly.
Retention and choices
- Local app data: You can clear cached images in the app, adjust settings, or remove local app data by clearing storage or uninstalling the app.
- Notifications: You can turn reminders off in the app or change notification permissions in device settings.
- Purchases: You can manage subscriptions and purchases through your Google Play or App Store account.
- Support emails: You can choose whether to contact SnackPack Studios by email.
Platform services
Google Play, Apple, RevenueCat, Vercel, image providers, and similar platform services may process technical information such as device type, operating system version, IP address, diagnostics, purchase receipts, or server logs as needed to operate their services. Their own terms and privacy policies apply to those services.
Children's privacy
Pawsitive Dose is not designed to collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has provided personal information through a support email or content report, contact us and we will review and delete it where appropriate.
Changes to this policy
This Privacy Policy may be updated from time to time. The version published on this page is the current version, and the effective date will be updated when material changes are made.
